Sertifikasi Lacak Balak atau lebih populer dengan istilah Chain of Custody (CoC) adalah penilaian produk kehutanan yang menerapkan prinsip satu langkah kembali atau satu langkah mundur untuk menilai apakah sumber hasil hutan pada node tunggal bersertifikat atau tidak. Sertifikasi Chain of Custody dilakukan untuk menentukan dua hal penting, yaitu: sistem kejelasan pergerakan hutan produk dan kinerja.

Sertifikasi Lacak Balak didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip kesukarelaan, transparansi, kemandirian, non-diskriminasi, transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Proses pelaksanaan seluruhnya diaudit oleh Badan Sertifikasi yang terakreditasi. Dalam hal ini PT AJA Sertifikasi Indonesia sebagai salah satu Lembaga Sertifikasi berpartisipasi dalam memberikan Proses Sertifikasi CoC.

CODE OF PRACTICES

Aturan dan ketentuan tambahan lainnya tertuang dalam Kode Praktik (Code of Practice/CoP) AJA Europe. CoP edisi terbaru tersebut akan diberikan bersamaan dengan proposal kontrak anda. Sangat penting untuk membaca CoP ini dengan sangat hati-hati.

Chain of Custody Certification or more popular with the term Chain of Custody (CoC) is a forestry product assessment that apply the principle of one step back or one step backward to assess whether a source of forest products on a single node is certified or not. Chain of Custody Certification is performed to determine two important things, namely: the clarity system of the movement of forest products and the performance of forest products.

Chain of Custody Certification is based on the principles of voluntarism, transparency, independence, non-discrimination, transparency and accountability. The entire implementation process is audited by an accredited Certification Body. In this case PT. AJA Sertifikasi Indonesia as one of Certification Body participate in providing CoC Certification Process.
